My first contest and I’m giving away $100.00 Cash. All I will ask is that you read the information posted on this SBI Page then post your feedback/comments on this blog. No obligation to buy anything. Just read, post, Subscribe and wait for the winner to be announced. Entries will be judged solely on content and the best explanation of why or why not it is a good program. Post must be a minimum of 100 words. Thats all there is to it. I must say you are very creative in your apporoach, and I am sure you will be successful in Internet Marketing, I am looking at you blog and indeed it is very well monetized.
Now for sitesell, a brilliant idea you are using, sending traffic to sitesell through your contest for $100 bucks. As you are sending the traffic to site sell, you might get some conversion, but I would still say, hey for 100 bucks that is pure genius.
There might be many visitors who will sign up for site sell as they have a good track record, they have been established for a long time and some people have made good money using sitesell.com

Im all about earning some extra money, but I am already an affiliate and working on two different web-sites using SBI. My own and one for my sister who recently won $150,000 in a wall street trading game.
SBI for me was absolutely the best investment I could have made to start my on-line business. I thought I was pretty internet saavy, however, after watching some of the video’s, I soon discovered why so many websites fail. It’s about drawing that traffic to your site with lots and lots of good information and then “monitizing” later.
No matter your interest or passion, no matter what it is that you’re good at, you can turn that into a way to earn a ligitimate living on-line.

Let me see if I can help you understand. The Contest for the $100.00 Cash is actually multi-faceted. First and foremost it is to attract visitors to this site. I’m no expert in affiliate programs but this 5-Pillar idea certainly sounds great. What I like most about it is the long term perspective that Site Sell is adopting. I do agree that many other affiliate programs take a rather myopic perspective, looking at their own short-term profits, without caring too much about their partner sites. They seem to be more interested in squeezing the most profits for the least outlay from these affiliate sites. Hardly true partners I would say. With a long term commitment to the interests of the other party as well, this forms a symbiotic relationship which would only be beneficial for Site Sell in the long run, as shown by their good reviews. The lifetime residual commissions act as a compelling incentive for affiliate sites to fervently promote Site Sell’s cause. This means more profits on both sides and a growing pie! I simply love the idea!

I have to admit, I’m getting tired of seeing the long text pitches that supposedly work wonders. Yes, all you need to do is scroll and not click, and that’s easy. But when I see the Firefox page slider has a long way to go, I just skip the pitch, get to the cost and most of the time, leave.
Time is just too precious to spend 15 min reading one page.

My first impression if SiteSell.com is: Oh, one of those quick-gain programs; probably a scam. But hey, my impression is a bit justified. The design of the homepage is not the best that can be found out there for an affiliate program’s website. I don’t understand why 30% of the page is empty. That sidebar would be more interesting if it had more content on it. I should add that the text looks really long and its presentation is boring, it doesn’t encourage me to read it.
So there is still a lot to be done with the content and the design.
Affiliate marketing is something I really don’t know about, I need however to learn about it. Maybe SiteSell will be the first program I experiment for that. Hmm!
Good post Mary, Site Sell uses the same formula that they promote in their Website development, Content, over deliver content, making them Search engine friendly, check their rank on Alexa. As for being an affiliate I started with Site Sell so I’m kind of partial , but no affiliate has paid me better and provided me with better tools to promote their product
I’ve encountered LOTS of website with one a page that takes about 20 spacebar taps before I get to the bottom, only to see that I need to sign-up and pay something before I can get in with their secret. So when I saw that SBI’s page structure is quite the same, I must admit that I was tempted to click that little “X” button on my SBI tab.
But I didn’t since I want in on this contest (puahaha!).
I really don’t have a clue as to what the heck an affiliate program is. So I’m really glad that they have a link to a page that will explain in a quick and understandable way what it is.
So you sign-up to become an affiliate, you drive customers to buy from them with content, content and content. And when someone buys through you, you get paid. Did I get it right?
Pretty easy, if you have great marketing skills and if you really are dedicated to earn.
The bottom line?
Will work if you are willing to invest time and effort and not just “5- 10 minutes every day!” for quick cash.
Won’t work if you’re lazy.
And will work more if someone will work on their site design.
I guess it will be more credible if you let us all know who is the winner. What if your email happened to be caught in the winner’s spam filter?
