The Art of Negotiation | TylerCruz.com: An Internet Entrepreneur’s Journey
I like to think of myself as an astute negotiator. It is in my system and I love it. A freind and I were talking the other who I consider the one of the best negotiators I’ve encountered, ( I have made many deals with him myself), it is not the fact of how much money you may save it is putting the deal together itself. It is just downright energizing. I ran across this post on TylerCruz.com and felt like I had to include it to be featured on Making Sales Making Money. Enjoy

Tools For Success

As I began writing this post it occurred to me that my recent posts involved more self-help types of topics than making money online. However, I sincerely believe these topics form the foundation for success in your online business, your conventional offline business, or your personal life. So here goes for those who have eyes and ears, let them see and hear.
Success is measured many different ways. Some consider success how much you have or how much money you make. Indeed most bloggers feel that way. There are contests underway by well-known sites competing for RSS Subscriptions. Oh, did I say Chow and Shoemoney? One or the other will win and be judged a success. Good for them.
WordPress for Dummies
If your are like me, this book will be a must have. Pre-order today and save. I have ordered mine. From the Authors blogsite I just heard from my publisher today, and he said… “The first date of availability is next Monday (10/29). It usually takes a couple weeks before it’s on store shelves. Amazon orders will probably ship 11/2…” So, we’ve confirmed…at long last, the official WordPress For Dummies book is reality and will be on the shelf at your local bookstore in no time!
BlogRush has been removed, Here is the Story
I received an email form BlogRush the other day and debated whether or not I would comment or post on the situation. Here is what the email stated
BlogRush Quality Guidelines:
- The blog contains unique, quality content that provides opinions, insights, and/or recommended resources that provide value to readers of the blog. Articles, videos, public domain works, press releases, and content written by others are okay to be used on the blog, but the ratio of unique content should far outweigh content from other sources.
Alexa Rank Improves , Thank you
I would like to express a heart felt thanks to everyone who has visited this site. I am not quite sure of how Alexa computes their rankings. However this site has gone form near 9 million in early August to 900,253 as of today. Blogging can be fun and aggravating all in the same day. While I was excited about my new ranking our friends at Blog Rush decided my site did not fit their criteria . Sometimes we write our hearts out only to have no one look or comment. I have said this before but it bears repeating. I work harder on this blog for less money than anything I have ever done. I had set an Alexa ranking of under 1,000,000 as a short term goal. Mission accomplished. I hope to provide enough content to reach my next goal of under 500,000. My recently posted article about Choosing Your Attitude has been picked up by a few sites and Courtney Tuttle has decided to include it in his feature 44 Internet Marketing Articles That Everyone Should Read: Internet Marketers Group Writing Project. I have read most of them and I am sure you can find them useful as well.

Taking Responsibility For Your Attitude
Our society today teaches and embraces the idea of NOT taking responsibility for anything, especially if it produces a negative result or circumstance. Most of us are quick to accept praise and frankly we all enjoy that. Conversely, most are not willing to accept responsibility when things go wrong and often try to deflect the root of the problem to someone else.
Can you start an online Business? YES you can
Late in July of 2007 with a mortgage overdue of 2100.00 I checked my bank account. My online access showed $89.23. I began searching for alternatives to make money online. I ran a hugely successful sports memorabilia business up until terrorists decided to crash airplanes into buildings on 9/11. Prior to that date I was generating sales of 6-7 K per month selling sports cards. 9/11 changed all that instantly. The business died and I got a job, which I still have.
ESPN – Ohio State, South Florida 1-2 in AP poll – College Football
I have lived in the Tampa Bay area for 50+ years and followed the local sports scene 45 of those. I can remember when the University of South Florida sports programs were run on a shoestring budget, seldom pulling any top athletes from anywhere. lets get this straight right now. South Florida is not the second best college football team in the country. I am not sure the the second best team in the state, but you have to give them their due while it last . Prior to 2007 USF has never been ranked in College Football. Congratulations to the Bulls and Head coach Jim Leavitt. I suppose major college Athletic Directors around the country will be backing up the Brinks trucks into his front yard with piles of money trying to lure him away from the bay area.
Yankees are Home in October
For the touch more than 3 years I wrote as a Fantasy Correspondent for ESPN. Yep that ESPN. Until now I have resisted the urge to plunge back into sports writing. As I was pondering ideas for my blog it occurred to me that we are now almost half way through October and the New York Yankees are home. Please understand as an avid baseball fan I find myself strangely aroused with the thought of not watching Joe Torre sit in the dugout, as the cameras pan 40-50 shots of his mug staring off in the distance, occasionally picking his nose. George Steinbrenner proved once again that 200+ million dollars won’t buy a championship and that’s good. My excitement could only be heightened if the Boston Red Sox follow suit and quickly exit the playoffs. I don’t hate either team, but I dislike both plenty.
NeverBlue Ads Takes the Field
As some may know by now I am a bit cautious when it comes to adding affiliates and recommendations. Being a Site Build It Affiliate has paid well. Today I am pleased to welcome NeverBlue to the stable. One of the things I look for in affiliates is obviously payouts. Close to the list as well is Payout Threshold. In both cases NeverBlue hits the mark . You will begin to see Never Blue ads on the site. Let us know what you think through our Contact Form
