Yankees are Home in October
For the touch more than 3 years I wrote as a Fantasy Correspondent for ESPN. Yep that ESPN. Until now I have resisted the urge to plunge back into sports writing. As I was pondering ideas for my blog it occurred to me that we are now almost half way through October and the New York Yankees are home. Please understand as an avid baseball fan I find myself strangely aroused with the thought of not watching Joe Torre sit in the dugout, as the cameras pan 40-50 shots of his mug staring off in the distance, occasionally picking his nose. George Steinbrenner proved once again that 200+ million dollars won’t buy a championship and that’s good. My excitement could only be heightened if the Boston Red Sox follow suit and quickly exit the playoffs. I don’t hate either team, but I dislike both plenty.

I Need a New Theme
My blog is now about 2 months old and visitors are checking it out more everyday. Thank you. However the more I search the web the more I am convinced I would like a different theme for my site. I have spent hours upon hour searching and looking for just the right fit. Now I would like some input form you my visitors. Point me to a great theme, a link, anything that might intrigue me. It really doesn’t matter if you are writing copy for your blog or a website. Search engines search for content. I talk with people everyday about writing content. The long and short of it is most tell me the same thing I cant write. I generally respond by telling them if you can talk, you can write. The problem is most try to write about something they don’t know anything about. Therein lies the real problem.
