Home Based Business Opportunities Success Stories

Starting a home based business requires someone to take an idea and act on it. I know of two ladies who decided to do just that. Far too many people sit on an idea hoping it will just spring to life on its own. That is not the case for these gals. Annie and Linda Kay both possess a passion and a purpose for what they do. They aspire to be successful. At Making Sales Making Money we promote the truth about home based business opportunities. We also like to promote the people who dare to dream, make an action plan, and then work the plan.

Annie, Seo Smarty

Annie is a native of Russia born in Crimea and came to the United States 2 years ago. There she worked for 5 years as an Internet Marketer for a United States firm as a freelance affiliate program manger and honed her skills. While working there she took on more work as a SEO consultant for an online entertainment site in the celebrity niche, but Annie had been infected with bug many of us have. She wanted to be her own boss. A year after moving to the states she decided she could do it. As many do, she brought some of her clients with her, and her business was born. Her talents have guided her to several different arenas. She now consults for firms in link building, and has been hired as a freelance reputation management specialist. Annie has a passion for social media, I actually met her through that medium and she was honored as one of the two Social Media Ninjas by Collective Thoughts Social Media. She presently is discussing an agreement with a firm to promote their site using legitimate white hat techniques.

She began her blog in earnest about a month or so ago. Her busy schedule usually limits her post to a few time s a week. She is unique in that she quite approachable and willing to share her SEO experience just by asking. One of her recent articles is Planning You Social Networking Strategy.

I admire anyone who has the moxie to give birth to a dream and Ann Povysheva fits the bill. Here is a little tip for you; she likes to called Annie for reasons Ill let her explain. Annie has tentatively agreed to do an occasional guest post and I look forward to her contributions.

Linda Kay- The Write Biz
I have known Linda Kay for 3 years. Linda has a natural A Type personality. One of our initial conversations evolved into an intense discussion about the moral decline of our society. She articulates her position with passion and purpose. She doesn’t like to lose at anything and seldom does. Linda had a dormant passion for writing. She often wrote resumes for her co-workers. She had an incredible knack for getting those people to the interview table. One day I finally had about all I could take and convinced her she had a talent that could be marketed. Actually the conversation was more like “Stop giving that stuff away, people are willing to pay for it” and the write biz was born.

Linda Kay is a frequent commenter on Making Sales Making Money. I wrote an article that actually helped give her all the motivation she needed to begin her own home based business. She was very disappointed with the results of a promotion opportunity and the article used a quote that stated champions are born in the labor of defeat. It gave her the impetus she needed to make the move.
