Business Opportunities Weblog and Making Sales Making Money have joined together in a content contributing project. Sometime ago I was introduced to Dane Carlson’s Business Opportunities Weblog. We work in essentially the same niche and through various conversations he asked me to do a guest post on his site. We check in with one another from time to time, and Dane suggested we do a project together and we agreed to brainstorm for an idea. The result is we will begin to contribute to each other’s site on a regular basis. I will post on his site and he will contribute on Making Sales Making Money.
I frequently write about the importance of establishing relationships and networking with your home based business, especially those within your niche. As it turns out both of us were reading each others blog and so the progression to communication was a natural. Dane commented early on that he liked the direction Making Sales Making Money was taking,and provided me with help especially in the early days of my site. One of the benefits of networking within your niche is that it creates opportunities to make a guest writing appearance from time to time. I did just that last fall on his site. I plan to contribute a couple times a month for the time being. Soon you will see a Link Block on this site that will connect you with my contributions.
While we both work in the niche of home based business and business in general, Dane’s website focuses on the many individual opportunities available. Making Sales Making Money promotes individuals creating home based business opportunities for themselves, with what they already know. My hope is that the two compliment one another.
The benefits for all should be different perspectives, and information on home based business opportunities. The benefits for my website are obviously exposure, traffic and perhaps a few links in my niche. Folks we are all in the information business. Providing information, no matter the source, is the motivation for this website. Contributing to another blog has been a desire of mine from the beginning.
