One Man’s Goal… Score! One Man Scammed

Another Make Money online blog has been sold. One Mans Goal netted Bryan Clark 10 LARGE from a young man named Marc Galeazzi. There isn’t a law to protect the innocent from such assaults, but maybe there should be. It is a dog eat dog world and we all know that, but somehow I feel like a pit bull just ate a puppy. What wrong with this picture?
Number one, by his own admission the new owner states he knows nothing about WordPress. That’s a curious statement as a stand alone, but I can hear the previous owner saying, no worries mate, you can learn it in a week and you will be on your way!
Number two, he says he doesn’t like reading blogs so he is going to do video. Okay fair enough, do video about what? He later says he loves to read blogs and will filter out the junk and list his top ten each week. I’m confused.
Number three he says he did not buy the blog for the money. Then why in the hell did you buy it? Marc said, “I’m not an expert by any means” yet he is going to tell people how to make money online?
Marc seems genuine in his quest to make it with his new blog. It’s a shame the seller couldn’t have been as sincere. Soon there will be posts everywhere of how another make money online blog sold for big money. Many will rain praise on Clark for his coup. It will not happen here. What happened is criminal.
Let’s use the formula that Yaro uses for attaching value to his RSS subscriptions. The rule is a dollar for every subscriber per month. So at 613 subscribers he makes $613.00 a month. I think that’s good math, but you can check me. Assume he is going to lose a percentage of those just on the fact of changing ownership. Are you starting to feel it slip away? If not, you will.
Marc, my little old blog likes to tell the truth about home based business opportunities. I frequently like to point out scams and scammers to my readers and site visitors. Young man you were scammed and you were burned badly. If it is possible to get your money back do it, if it is possible to cut your losses do it. You said you wanted a platform. I will pay for your hosting for a year, get you online and it won’t cost you a freaking dime.
The fact that you were scammed isn’t all that bad if you learn from it. We all have had it handed to us at one time or another. I’m going to call out to the blog world to go to Blogging Zombie and vote to give this young man his money back.
Welcome feel free to look around. Subscribing to my Feed or Newsletter guarantees you don't miss any new content, give it two weeks, you will love it RSS feed. Thanks for visiting! Hope to see you again soon.

Get Rich Quick Scams do work…. for the ScammersEvery day, thousands of people turn over a new leaf and decide to start a home-based business. One major downside to this process is the unfortunate abundance of work-at-home scams, cleverly disguised as legitimate home-based business opportunities.

One Man’s Goal… Score! One Man Scammed…
Its happened again and it make my blood boil, One mans goal got 10 grand for his bog as a young man was blindsided by his own desire to make it online. this movie plays way too much out there folks, Im getting sick of it, I offered to help , I doubt I…
Don I’m glad you wrote this. I’m appalled at what happened here, I really am and i can only hope that this Marc guy is smart enough to ask for his money back.
He seems a real nice kid and smart too. Hopefully he will see this for what it’s for. Your offer to help this kid is also very generous. Heck, I would even do this myself. Rather that then see him suffer.
Well said buddy!!
I’ve cast my vote: for him to get his money back. Over 70% in favour when I saw the results.
I’m very glad you wrote this blog. Reinforces my opinion about Bryan Clark by the way.
Agreed and zoomed. This thing can go nowhere but down.
You know this really peeves me off in so many bad ways. The same bad deal went down with WP Designer. While I do understand the reasons the owner sold it just makes no sense to sell it to someone who doesnt design wordpress blogs. Really what are people thinking?
[...] Don miller over at making sales making money is following a very closely related other blog sale turning into the same fiasco. in his post h’s quite accurately calling it what it is. One mans goal……Score one man scammed [...]
Hopefully this young fellow will take all the criticism as constructive and seek out help from those offering. Nicely put Don.
It’s all a matter of perspective. A seriously good blog can make $10k in a week. If you want big money, you shouldn’t panic when you see big numbers.
As to Marc not knowing anything about blogging — he has a paying web site already set up. He’s probably not that clueless.
@Luke you are clueless , He essentially paid 10 K for a domain , you really think that is a smart move? And how is it making money? You think his customers are going to come from Clark?
Yes, good of you to point out this scam. Pity the young lad. It’s a damn shame. Just can’t imagine how and where he got the money to pay for the site. Could it be from his rich dad? There’s no logic in this. Makes no sense.
Luke,
Did you bother to look at the kid’s “paying website?” - It’s pure noob - first time out junk!
It hasn’t made a dime as it hasn’t had a single visitor other than me. LMAO.
@Monika there are lots of people out there that need help, that is why we are here, thanks for sharing your comment.
@Grizz ,when I wa sthat young I didnt listen to others, I wish I had , but the tuition changed my thinking.
@ Justin thanks, hopefully he gets my point
@ Markk, Sounds like he earned hi money on his own, good on him, but he may need to ask for more hours at the bar he works to cover some shortfalls in income
@ Evan, you cannot scam people forever, little by little they will be exposed, thank for commenting
Don,
Great job pointing out the scams that exist out there and the people willing to capitalize on ignorance, this is truly a case of someone who went out for a refreshing swim on a blazing hot sunny afternoon, but who failed to read the warning signs posted all over the beach that said “Warning, large hungry sharks in the area, very big teeth, DANGER, NO SWIMMING.”
Ouch! He will likely live through this experience, but it will certainly be one he remembers for the rest of his journey through life.
@ Grizzly: make that two. LOL, I also stopped over to check it out and came to the same conclusion.
Great post mate. I cannot say anymore that has already been said here, on Vic’s and various other blogs - although I do feel fairly bad for the guy that bought in.
Jason thanks for the comment, he is enthusiastic at least and that will sustain him for a time
This is way more than just a domain. It’s a pre-built subscriber base / community, where several guest authors are already posting regularly. Even if he botches it for a while, if he’s smart enough to pick it up without making a trainwreck out of it, there’s a pretty good chance he’ll get his money back.
I don’t doubt he’s making some money from his Adsense site. It’s #7 on Google page 1 when you search “relaxation tips”.
Luke you must really be a fu**** noob!!!! And by looking at your site I can tell, please tell me what % of Google searches are done with quotes? Answer that to me and I will see if it even is worth trying to teach you something.
Luke as a matter of fact stop fu**** comment trolling god knows you have nothing what so ever remotely intelligent to add!
Lol. Luke has a post of his top searches.
His number one search:
10kluke - Queries 5 Wow!
But it gets better. And I quote:
Note: anything with “10kluke” in it was just me checking.
His top search query is him searching for himself. I sure hope you find yourself someday, buddy.
ROTFLMAO
LMAO Yup huge noob!!!!!!
“Even if he botches it for a while, if he’s smart enough to pick it up without making a trainwreck out of it, there’s a pretty good chance he’ll get his money back”
There is no way to get that money back. It is money lost. he would be better off to come out and say he was a dumb ass and ask the right people for help, make a sticky post about things not to do when starting a blog, his post title could be, “Don’t Pay 10 K for Someone Else’s Way!” Catchy huh?
[...] do you think? How would you tell a scam from an opportunity? What else would you check if you wanted to buy a blog? Stumble this [...]
