Im Thinking Mark Ress Wont Use This Post

You know using someone’s content is as frequent someone taking a breath. I get that. I understand that. As my home based business grows I get exposed to it more and more everyday. I have another blog that has every article I have written in the past 2 months scraped by multiple people. For the most part I just delete the track back and move on. Today I ran across a person named Mark Ress who apparently has several HubPages on home based business and home based business opportunities. As regular readers know, my own home based business is now a full time Internet marketing business.
Today as I scrolled through this Mark Ress HubPage I saw some very familiar titles. Why were they familiar you ask? That’s because they are fricking mine! Along with the many of the posts featured on the page. It looks like he has my feed served on his page and in particular my articles about BANS. To be fair he has links back to my page “no follow” of course, but never once mentions the author or the site by name.
Am I supposed to be okay with this? Well I’m not, and I doubt I am going to be. If I’m not supposed to be disturbed, please be sure to let me know in a comment. I do not know Mark Ress nor do I need to know him, but I am looking for my articles to be removed from his site. Fair enough?
I then stumbled on to a different site that did not belong to Mark Ress
As common as scrappers are, spammers are even worse. Almost in the same hour I discovered the HubPage , I discovered another familiar title. This time he was listed in the SERP’s right behind my original post. Now you know I had to check it put right? I did and there it was in all its glory , my post word for word in title and content, surrounded by more Adsense than you could count. Again normally not a big deal, but this one was little different. Here is the part that chapped my butt. This vermin postdated my article on his website so it would appear he wrote it first. I reported a complaint to Google and we will see what happens if anything. It has been that kind of day folks and I wanted to get that off my chest.
Welcome feel free to look around. Subscribing to my Feed or Newsletter guarantees you don't miss any new content, give it two weeks, you will love it RSS feed. Thanks for visiting! Hope to see you again soon.

Im Thinking Mark Ress Wont Use This Post…
Hi everyone, want to take a sentence here or there from my content, have at it , but if you do what these two did , Im calling you out. Content scrapping is all well and good and everyday occurrence I understand that. Sometimes people just go a little …
Hi Don!
Go get ‘em Boy.
Hope you can find a nice place to bite them when you do catch up. Such barefaced robbery needs to be stamped on.
report him to team (at)hubpages.com - they don’t like this sort of stuff at all - just point out u are the original author and u are not this person (it is OK to republish your OWN work on hp) that should get his account banned from HP!
Jesus. I’m a complete newb at blogging and desperately trying to make a go of it. Would love to see more comments on this post with as many ideas as possible to prevent that kind of blatant content theft. I wouldn’t have a clue how to prove the content was mine if I wrote something and somebody pulled that postdate scam to “claim” it as their own.
Best of luck getting a little justice here, Don. I hope Ress gets what’s coming to him.
Don I’d be mad too if someone took my hard work. I hope they catch this guy.
Hi Don,
No you shouldn’t be happy about it.
It’s certainly impolite. It’s probably unethical.
Good Luck Don,
Nothing like providing content so other people can make money…I would love to see this scumbags face when he attempts to steal the article and realizes it’s about him.. DOH!
Rys, thanks for your support and encouragement
Lissie , this post title worked as it is now showing on his Hub page. I’m fine with it staying there for a while now
@Tiki Thanks for commenting it is an ongoing problem , and not much to be done about it
@Evan, thanks Evan kind of figured you would see it my way ,
Hey Don Miller Mark Ress here to clarify or shed some light or your bullsh– accusations my man. You should not be accusing me of anything OTHER than taking PLR (private label right) and using it AS IS!
I don’t know you and you OBVIOUSLY don’t know me but watch who you accuse of stealing content because I am not the one. Interesting that you try to insult me by calling me vermin who “post dated” the article when those hubpages HAVE been up for OVER 5 to 6 months. I had outsourcers in the Phillipines working those for me and yes I DID provide them PLR content. The only thing I am guilty of is NOT changing the title or content because we can do whatever we WANT with PLR content. If you want to sit there and claim it as yours I can’t stop you but you’re not going to dog me out, dirty my name and reputation over this!!
Now instead of handling this like a man and coming to me DIRECTLY to discuss what your FEEL you are right about which you are 100% wrong about you come on your own site like a some bad a– and throw out these false statements and accusations. Here is my email address markress@gmail.com. Contact me and I will set you straight but you and your troops better be ready to back up your lies.
I have been around for 9 years marketing online and make very good money WITHOUT practicing Adsense Arbitrage or FOCUSING on Adsense. I think Adsense sucks and is ONLY a testing pad for markets that I want to get into.
If you want to debate this live via a teleconference or live Ustream interview then let’s do this but MAN UP and stop trying to seem like the victim here!
I do NOT scrape content bud. I do NOT steal content. I use private label right articles that hundreds of other folks have access too. Do you SERIOUSLY think I have nothing better to do than to sit around and devise an evil plan to scrape content. Come on dude be REAL. I make my money with Virtual Real Estate, Consulting, Selling software and info products, as speaking at live events and offering people a REAL way to get from under this messed up economy. My coaching has hundreds and thousands of folks who have been through my training that will vouch for me.
I am the real deal and anytime you want to challenge me then step up. No need for the drama and sounding like a whiney victim here. YOU have my email address. Better sooner than later because you got a lot of nerve stating I stole “your” content when my stuff has been up for many many months and have the emails to PROVE it when I was training my outsourcers in the Phillipines to build out those Hubpages and what not.
Mark Ress
markress@gmail.com
p.s.
I don’t need to post your wacked bullsh– post full of lies on any of my sites when I can address you right here right now. You started this and I am going to finish it!
p.s.s.
Don’t be angry when the outcome proves you wrong and especially for making an enemy out of me instead of a friend. I know alot of people in the industry but will not go to them to help fight this fight with you bud. I can put out this fire ALL on my own.
Again let me know when you want to go live to clarify this mess you’ve started because if you are going to accuse me of stealing content when there are hundreds using PLR content then you have a long list of folks to go after but starting with me was a BIG MISTAKE!
Now let’s see if you use this post!
Mark Ress., thanks for stopping by . First things first, I did not call you vermin , however I admit the way the post was written it may seem that way. I stumbled across two separate pages within an hour on the same day. Your HubPage was the first. This is what I saw. I saw a video or two promoting your products and systems. On the lower third of the page I saw, my original articles posted verbatim each about 2 to 3 paragraphs long. If I remember correctly the title to the section was Mark Ress other suggestions for Home Based Business. , or something to that effect. I cannot view the page now, because it has been removed. Now go back, read the post, and see if that is not exactly what I said. I then asked my readers to comment, with their thoughts
“It looks like he has my feed served on his page and in particular my articles about BANS. To be fair he has links back to my page “no follow” of course, but never once mentions the author or the site by name”
I followed by making a simple request, “I am looking for my articles to be removed from his site. Fair enough?
I then jumped to the other guy and the other post I read. His post included my original content and title. It was post dated I believe in an effort to make it look like he wrote it first. It was either that or his calendar is wrong on Wordpress, which one do you think it is? The issue of Adsense or whether or not you use is not an issue that needs to be debated. The reference about Adsesne was not made about you or your sites.
Now exactly where did you see me accusing you of stealing content, go ahead read it again, I stated the site was using my feed, I asked that it be stopped. Stealing is your word not mine. As a point of clarification I will edit the post to differentiate between the two stories other than that I stand by what I saw and the request I made to remove it, but since you did, thank you.
Hey Don Miller I appreciate your willingness to edit the post to differentiate between me and this other person you’re stating is scraping your content because I just don’t do that.
The offer still stands if you want to get on the horn and discuss my style of marketing versus what others do. I’ll educate your folks if you’d like on how I make money online. I’ve been in this a very long time but have stayed underground because of crap like this. When folks are successful and out in the open they tend to become targets.
I only want to help folks learn real ways to become successful online.
Thanks again for posting my reply to your post and your willingness to address the difference between me and this other person. It seemed your readers took it very personal and were attacking me and my name when again I did nothing wrong.
Go to YouTube.com and perform a search on YouTube for my name Mark Ress:

You will see evidence of all the folks that I have helped and how other people feel about me. These are REAL testimonials from folks that have paid or not paid me because it is not always about money for me Don. I have helped countless folks just to do the right thing but make my money so many ways online that I can fill up a THREE day weekend seminar by myself with content and still not run out.
I am the ONLY Internet Marketer who has ran an Internet Marketing Coaching Club for FREE for almost TWO YEARS! No other IM’er can say that. I was putting on free teleseminars and webinars for the longest. I dedicated most of 2007 to helping folks. The free IMCC is still up for folks to take advantage of at:
Dollar-a-Day-Per-Site.info
It was an experiment to prove to folks that your sites don’t have to be perfect. Your domains don’t have to be keyword rich and you can come out of no where with an ugly name squeeze page and still make over six figures online in less than 6 months with a list of less than 1000 people.
I am a giver Don yet some folks mistake my kindness for weakness. I am tired of trying to prove myself but will not allow something to be said about me that is not true.
Wishing you the best.
Mark Ress
p.s.
You know how to reach me should you want to team up on a teleseminar or something.
Mark, perhaps one day we can do that, at present I am knee deep in my own projects
Questioning your ability or knowledge was never brought into this issue. I’m sure you make money , and if you are helping people more power to you, everyone needs help in some form or fashion.
However I did not like seeing a near replica of my site content via the feed on your Hubpage. I am glad it gone and now its back to work. Its all good
Don
Good luck on nailing that dirtbag. Google is slow on de-indexing them, but they eventually get it done.
Don,
As a writer, I understand your frustration with people using your content. On a bright note, I always choose to think of the old adage that imitation is the purest form of flattery! (although what your are talking about is actually plagiarism…but hey, what the heck)
Dear Don and all your peeps,
I\’d like to say I have been working with Mark Ress for the last month and a half and all I can tell you is he is a great guy.
Honestly, thank God for Mark Ress.
Mark Ress has helped me tremendously with my online business and making money on line. He is the only IM marketer out there I\’ve found who really takes his time with me and has spent hours with me for FREE.
Everyone is so concerned with \"helping\" newbies…for a price. I understand you need to have some skin in the game ( and I do ) but at some point there has to be some give and take if you really want to help people who are trying to make something of themselves.
Never once in his trainings has he condoned or taught plagiarism or stealing content.
I mean lets be honest, can we?
There really are NO new ideas. What most of us have learned we\’ve learned from books and instructors.
Most marketing material is rehashed stuff Dan Kennedy has written anyway.
Most of the copy-writing you read out there are from the past greats, Halbert, Schwartz and Ogilvy just to name a few.
So when it really gets down to it, we\’re all really \"scraping\" others content aren\’t we?
This is why people hate \"bloggers\". Rather handling a situation one on one, you bash a mans credibility for comments and traffic on your blog.
Oh, I almost forgot…you did call him \"vermin\" you might want to go back and re-read your blog post.
Regards,
Bill Parlaman

Bill , Im glad that is working out for you. No I don’t think we are all scraping and we can disagree in that , that fine, perhaps you should go re-read the post , there are two separate incidents and Ress was not called vermin. Good luck with your business
Don,
Thanks for letting me be heard. I appreciate that.
No problem Bill, if you read the comment string , I think Mark and I worked out our differences. Now send me so BBQ ! The issue is long over as far as Im concerned
