The Worlds Greatest Natural Resource, WAHM’s
I would like to take some time to honor those mothers who have decided to work from home. The pressures and finances in this world make it difficult for a family to survive on one income. The sacrifices are many.
Twenty-five years ago my first son was born. My wife and I were overwhelmed as most new parents are. We had set a course for our lives that would include hard work and commitment. As the days for our new child’s birth approached we discussed our plans. She would be off work from her administrative assistant job at a poultry distribution facility.
We would carry on with our son in a day care center and all would be right with the world. Then it happened. The moment the nurse laid our 9lb bundle of joy on her chest everything changed.
